What: Results-Based M&E of Public Programs is a professional training course designed to provide tools and practices in M&E within the RBM context.
At the end of this workshop, the participant will have mastered:
- The tools for a better articulation of monitoring and evaluation with other components of RBM;
- A structured approach for the monitoring and evaluation of public programs and projects;
- The selection and documentation of performance indicators;
- The elaboration of a monitoring and evaluation plan;
- The Implementation monitoring using MS-Project and Chart Pro;
- A methodological approach for the design and implementation of information systems for a results-based M&E;
- The tools for data quality assessment; and
- The concepts and tools for better communication for evidence-based decision-making.
Target Audience
These workshops are designed for professionals and civil service officers involved in the monitoring and evaluation of strategies and public programs, for example the MDGs M&E unit, the PRS M&E unit, Institute of Statistics, and M&E units in Ministries. They also address the needs of professionals responsible for monitoring and reporting to the Government and financial and technical partners.
